A community sports club in Golborne
Golborne Parkside sits on the Hugo Johnson Playing Fields on Rivington Avenue, minutes from the centre of the village and within easy reach of Lowton, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Leigh and Newton-le-Willows. We are an amateur rugby league club, a crown green bowling club, a darts and dominoes club and a set of allotments — all run by volunteers, all under one roof.

Play for Parkside
Junior and open age rugby league
New players are welcome at every age, and no experience is needed. Newbies takes children from four years old, with boys' and girls' teams running through the juniors and youth ages to Under 18s, then Men's Open Age and Masters for those who are not finished yet.
Girls' and women's rugby league is a growing part of the club, with dedicated Under 11s and Under 14s sides and a Women's Masters team. Every team has its own contact, so you can speak to the right coach straight away rather than being passed around.
What's on
The clubhouse is a venue too
